About Hot Rocket Software
We are a team of specialists based in the UK, with 19 years in IT. We build custom software and websites, help businesses get found online, use AI to take routine work off people's desks, and look after it all once it is live. You always deal with real people, never a chatbot.

Our team
A team of specialists, not one person doing everything.
Our team brings together specialists in software, websites, AI, hosting and marketing. When you work with us you have one point of contact, and each part of the job is done by the person best placed to do it.
We work with small businesses first and foremost, and with larger companies, the public sector and other agencies as a subcontractor. Whoever you are, you deal with real people on our team, never an AI.

Based in the UK, working mostly remotely
We are a UK company with 19 years in IT. Most of our day-to-day work is done remotely, by video call, and when a project needs it we meet in person for a first chat, a workshop or the launch. Either way, you deal with real people on our team.
The start is always the same: a free video call about what is getting in the way, with someone who would do the work.

How we work
- Start with the problem
- We look at how the work is done today before deciding what to build. Often the answer is smaller than expected.
- The right specialist for each job
- Websites, software, AI, hosting and marketing are different skills. Each part of your project is done by someone who does that work every day.
- Plain English
- We explain what we are doing and why, without jargon. Ask us anything.
- Write it down
- Plans, decisions and handover notes, so you are never dependent on us.
- You own it
- Your code, your website, your accounts and your data.
- Say no when it is not worth it
- If a spreadsheet or an off-the-shelf tool will do, we will tell you.
- Real people, gradual change
- You always deal with people on our team. Where we automate, we bring it in step by step to support your staff and modernise how you work, not to replace anyone.
