What is eCommerce website design?
An eCommerce website is an online shop: customers find a product, pay and get it delivered or collect it. We build shops on Shopify when that suits you, and custom or headless shops when you need more control, speed or links to your own systems. Either way, the shop is fast on a phone, accessible and easy for your team to run.
Built in Every site we build, whatever its size, is built for speed, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), search engines and AI search from the first day.

Your options
Shopify
Fast to launch and easy to run, with a large app ecosystem. A good fit for most shops. We design and build a custom theme rather than reusing a stock one.
Custom or headless
Your own storefront in front of Shopify or another commerce engine. Worth it when speed, unusual products, trade pricing or deep integration matter.
Migration
Moving from WooCommerce, Magento, Wix or another platform, with products, customers and redirects carried across.

Questions
Shopify or a custom shop: which do I need?
Most shops are well served by Shopify, and we will say so. A custom or headless shop makes sense when you need unusual pricing, very fast pages, a complex catalogue or tight links to your own stock and accounts systems.
Can you move my existing shop without losing sales or rankings?
Yes. We map every product and page, carry over customers and orders where the platforms allow, set up redirects so old links still work, and check search traffic after launch.
Will I be able to add products and run sales myself?
Yes. You manage products, prices, stock, discounts and orders from the shop's admin area. We show you how and stay on hand for anything unusual.
Can the shop link to my accounts and stock systems?
Usually, yes. Most accounts, stock and delivery tools have connections we can use, and where they do not we can build one.

Website styles we build
Concepts are original designs we made for fictional brands, to show styles we can build for you. Each one is a working page you can try on your phone.
The brands in our concepts are invented. Nothing is for sale and no form sends anything. See all our concept websites.
