How does a trades firm stop missing calls and win more of the right work?

Website, AI receptionist and growth for trades businesses

For a plumbing, heating or building firm missing calls while its engineers are on jobs, we build a trade website, set up an AI receptionist that answers and books, improve local and AI search visibility, automate quotes and follow-ups, and set up a social media routine the team can keep up.

P4.1

The usual starting point

Most enquiries come by phone, and engineers on a job cannot answer, so callers ring the next firm on the list.

The old website is slow on a phone, describes services vaguely and does not show up when people searched for a plumber in their own town.

Quotes are written up in the evenings, and follow-ups and review requests often never happen.

P4.4

How the services connect

Why one partner across every stage matters.

  • The website, the receptionist and the quote form all feed the same job system, so every enquiry is in one place however it arrives.
  • Review requests from the automation feed the Google Business Profile, which helps local search, which brings in more of the calls the receptionist answers.
  • One small team looks after all of it, so the owner has one number to call when something needs to change.

P4.5

How we work with your team

How we worked
A short call every fortnight during the build, then a monthly check-in, with changes explained without jargon.
Data protection
Callers are told they are speaking to an AI assistant, recordings are kept only as long as needed, and customer details live only in the firm's own job system.
With their team
The receptionist hands urgent calls to the engineer on call, and the office manager can change opening hours and answers without us.
Ownership
The firm owns its domain, website, Google Business Profile and social accounts.

P4.6

What you get

  • Calls are answered while the engineers are on jobs, and survey visits go straight into the diary.
  • Quote requests arrive complete in the job system instead of on scraps of paper.
  • Happy customers are asked for a review after every job, without anyone having to remember.
  • The firm shows up for the towns it serves in local search and in AI assistants' answers.

Built for small teams too. Made for small firms: an owner, an office manager and a few vans.
